Today I take you on a walk around the inside of a 132 kV gas insulated switchgear (GIS) substation. A slightly different video to usual but a warm up to a dedicated video on SF6 and insulating gasses.
This is some of the very basics of GIS covering disconnectors, earth switches, circuit breakers, bus couplers and bus sections.
